How an item gets here

The briefing is rebuilt from primary sources. The public page carries the conclusion, with the source named on the story itself.

Lab posts, technical reports, model cards, and paper listings are the intake. A social timeline is a sensor for what people are reacting to. It is not quoted here, and it is not treated as the source of a fact.

File

Each development answers what happened, then why it matters. The judgment sits inside why it matters, not in a separate block. Numbers stay tied to the institution that measured them. A candidate stays a candidate until a later measurement promotes it. The longer technical note sits behind Go deeper.

Two surfaces

The site holds the durable version: today’s ranked briefing, the week, and the library. A badge on each story says whether a figure is a company claim, a preview, or something independently checked. The X account carries the short version. Same judgment, different length.

Cadence

Today is the ranked briefing, updated when the field moves. The week page is the map of how those developments fit together. The short version is posted on X.
